I wish to make amends, how do I get off the list?

When dealing with evil it is important not to be drawn into it and thus become contaminated. To insure this the rules or Code of Conduct (COC) must be followed.

Ok here is how this works. A player that has been wronged applies for a Bounty Contract on Ambassador of Evil (the player that Diablo has corrupted). If the Bounty Contract is accepted then these players are put on the Wanted list. To get off the list the Corrupted Player (CP) must make restitution to the player he or she wronged.

The bounty hunter will be paid the bounty fee and may also be paid a redemption fee by the Bounty Hunters Guild (BHG) as long as the COC has been followed.

COC

1. A bounty hunter must be within *3 lvls of the CP. While having a group of lvl65 Barbys hunting a lvl10 Necro for stealing a sword may sound fair too the person that had the sword stolen it is un-sportsman like and thus evil.

2. A bounty hunter chasing a CP into a game must announce that there is a bounty on the CP before going Hostile. This is to let the other players in the game know why you are attacking a fellow player. This is especially important in games where the CP is in a party because as soon as you go hostile with the CP you automatically go hostile with the party. You may word it any way you want but it should follow this basic outline.

a: "A bounty of (amount) has been placed on (CP) by the Bounty Hunters Guild sorry to disturb the rest of you citizens" b: <Go Hostile with CP>  c: "(CP) you have been found in league with Diablo and must atone for your crimes"

3. Once the player asks why he or she is being attacked you must state the Reason for the Bounty Contract. Example:

"You broke a pact with (the wronged player) and stole (items) from him/her. Until you make restitution to (the wronged player) there is a bounty of (amount) for your ear."

After making the statement you can freely attack the CP or continue to talk to them but must be careful not to become contaminated by the CP. For instance saying "To every bounty hunter and myself you are just gold in our pockets" is ok, but saying "Come Denison of Evil, I am here at reap your ears" may be evil, depending on the type of laugh you are making at the time.

4. If the CP asks you "how do I get off the Wanted lists" then you must tell them to go the Bounty Hunter’s Guild site where they can see the Bounty Contract and what they need to do to atone for their sins.

5. Bounty is only paid on one ear per game. While converting the CP back to the light side will take a while we must never revel in misfortune or misdirection of others, therefore the Bounty Hunters Guild will only pay bounties on 1 Ear per game. It is up to the bounty hunters how long the choose to try and convert the heathen but taking more than one ear per game may be evil if the Bounty Hunter does so while the CP is unarmed or is collecting ears.

6. A screen shot showing the game, act and initial Bounty announcement must accompany any collection request. This is to insure that the COC have been followed.

We will set up a message board for the Bounty collections, until then email the screen shot to any of the 12 on the Gray Council. Once we have verified that a valid bounty has been requested, a meeting place will be agreed on for the fulfillment of the bounty.

*The 3 lvl rule applies to all avatars except Barbarians.  Because of how unbalanced the Barbarian class is the Bounty Hunters may be within 5 lvls of a Barbarian CP.
